Episode 80: The 10 Year Old Killers (Case of James Bulger)
When 2 year old James goes missing at the mall his mom is quick to start her frantic search. Within seconds he had disappeared into the crowd.
When the police arrive and show her the CCTV footage everyone is relieved. James had been lured out of the mall by two 10 year old boys. Thank god it’s not some creepy old man.
Nobody had any clue that these 10 year olds were planning a murder.
Book Rec: “I Let Him Go” - by Denise Fergus is one of the most raw, emotional, vulnerable books I’ve read this year. The victim’s mother is so honest about the complex emotions and the impact of violent crime - and through it all she is able to deliver the reader a little bit of hope.
